WHERE TO EAT, STAY, PLAY, AND MORE IN MALIBU, CA
While most people are escaping to Europe for the summer, we’ve decided to stay home.
There’s nothing more you need when Malibu is in your backyard.
Here’s the JA Guide to the ultimate Malibu weekend staycation.
Nothing is more cleansing than that fresh salt air. With hardly any beach front hotels in Malibu, the Malibu Beach Inn is the luxury resort we love. Located right next to the restored Malibu Pier, it has prime oceanfront views. If you’re not relaxing on the terrace or sunbathing on the sand, walk over to the pier to rent kayaks, paddle boards, and have a farm to table snack from the Malibu Farm.

Our secret playground is definitely El Matador Beach. Take a ride on PCH all the way up the coast. Your high will kick in off the scenery itself, this part of the coast line meets the Malibu mountains and is surrounded by huge rock formations. It is by far the most beautiful beach in Malibu.

Ride that Malibu high over to Neptune's Net for burgers and fried seafood. The diner is a biker hotspot and Malibu landmark. It has been around since the 1950’s and featured in countless movies.
Need a break from the beach? The Malibu Farmers Market is every Sunday. Score some local bites and artisanal crafts… but really we just go for the popsicles. They are vegan, fruit, crack. You can’t leave without one.
Ready for Happy Hour?
Café Habana has all the vibes, margaritas, and damn good chips and guac.
P.S. Karaoke Wednesdays, baby.
Where are you shopping? You’re not, physically anyway. Head to jacquieaiche.com with one hand on a popsicle and the other on your phone screen, right from your comfy beach chair. Happy weekend lovers.
